Silver Margiela Pants, Outside the Carven Show
One of the biggest takeaways from the S/S 2014 fashion weeks is the new shape of pants. They’ve gone from the skinny “jeggings” type silhouette to something looser and more relaxed, in a variety of unexpected materials from leather to this silver metallic Maison Martin Margiela pair seen outside the Carven show. Love how she has mixed them with a soft and fuzzy cropped sweater for contrast. And yes, they should be worn with heels.

Julia Sarr-Jamois is back on the scene! We have missed seeing her this Fashion Month. On the day of the Celine and Chloe shows, she wore a bright orange mini skirt with multicolor running shoes, a gray sweater and Prada sunglasses. Pharrell Williams at Comme des Garcons
I have to say I had no idea Pharrell Williams was so well dressed in “real life.” This is such a great mix of the patchwork coat, tee, necklaces, cuffed jeans, leopard print pony skin skater shoes, and just a glimpse of a black and white polka dot cardigan underneath. The fedora is not only elegant but perfect for a drizzly afternoon in Paris.

Lane Crawford’s Sarah Rutson really knows how to put an outfit together. Love the rich textures and colors of the embroidered sweater and floral print silk pencil skirt. Then she adds a belt, sleek metallic stilettos and lots of jewelry. It’s maximalism at its finest and a great example of layering during transitional weather.
