If you barely remember how to dress yourself in anything other than flip flops and shorts, it’s time for a refresher course before NY Fashion Week. Fortunately many of last September’s attendees were so ahead of the curve, their looks can easily be adopted for this fall.

Backless Maxi Dress, Prince Street
Bill Cunningham managed to spot way more maxi dresses than short shorts this summer, particularly near his usual stomping grounds on 57th and Fifth, the opposite of what we saw downtown.
