Helena Bordon at Roberto Cavalli FW2015
Helena Bordon wore a cute Bugs Bunny-themed Moschino dress to the Roberto Cavalli show in Milan. A shot of her palm print Les Petits Jouers backpack, after the jump. (more…)
Anna Russka at Roberto Cavalli FW2015
In the sea of people outside the fashion shows, Anna Russka is one who has a distinctive look. I love her early ’80s hair and penchant for wearing suits. Seen here in a cool print suit and tinted shades outside the Roberto Cavalli show.
Martha Graeff at Roberto Cavalli FW2015
Animal Instincts: Tina Leung at Cavalli FW2015
Tina Leung mixed a zebra print top and leather skirt by Cavalli with a Bulgari snake bracelet and clutch at the Cavalli show in Milan. The sexy shoes are Alaia. Bag detail, after the jump. (more…)
Eleonora Carisi at Just Cavalli SS2015
One of the best things about getting dressed in warm weather: it can be as simple as just putting on a pretty dress. Work it for as long as you can, since fall is coming soon. Eleonora Carisi of Jou Jou Villeroy wore a pink snakeskin print Just Cavalli dress to the show in Milan.
Menswear, Outside Roberto Cavalli
Just a few hours before this year’s Met Ball, our thoughts go out to the men who’ll be attending. Much has been written already about the strict dress code of white tie and tails for the men. Spending thousands of dollars on an outfit you may only wear once – we women wonder what that must be like?!? C’mon guys, you can do it. Let these stylish guys outside the Roberto Cavalli show be an inspiration to us all.
Pink Squiggle Coat, Outside Just Cavalli
Fei Fei Sun at Roberto Cavalli
Fei Fei Sun is definitely one of the most fashion-forward models in an industry where women tend to throw on jeans and T-shirts for their off duty hours. She left the Roberto Cavalli show in argyle tights, a denim and leather studded jacket, plaid kilt and fur moccasins – a cool post-punk look.
Ulyana Sergeenko at Roberto Cavalli
Oversized Coat and Sneakers, Outside Cavalli
One of the most talked-about aspects of the recent Chanel couture show was Karl Lagerfeld’s choice of footwear for the exquisite gowns and suits: sneakers. The sneaker trend actually trickled up from the streets. In recent fashion weeks so many of the models off duty and photographers wore running shoes to (sometimes literally) sprint between shows. The good news: they don’t have to be as expensive as Chanel. Nike is fine.
In Milan, a showgoer wore Nike running shoes with a wide brimmed hat and oversize coat, feminizing the look by leaving a little bit of ankle exposed. Try it when it gets warm enough to expose some skin.
Viviana Volpicella at Roberto Cavalli
Loved the ethic stripes of this fur-trimmed coat on Viviana Volpicella outside the Roberto Cavalli show. The boots are Givenchy.
Oksana On at Roberto Cavalli
Russian Glamour‘s Oksana On wore a striking gray dress to the Roberto Cavalli show in Milan. As in many of the fall/winter 2013 shows, the clothes on the street have been getting more muted, save for the occasional fashion week peacock or two, with the focus shifting away from bright colors and returning to sharp tailoring.
Michelle Elie at Roberto Cavalli
Michelle Elie of Garage Magazine was a bright pop of orange and red color on a gloomy day outside the Roberto Cavalli show. Close-up of her Miu Miu platforms, after the jump.
