NYFW Trend Takeaway: Fashion Is Freedom
Though there are fewer hard and fast rules in fashion these days, every NY fashion week highlights some change in the way people are dressing now. Alex Badia at Diane von Furstenberg SS2016
WWD’s Alex Badia mixed it up with different variations on pinstripes including a pinstriped trench at the Diane von Furstenberg show.
Kristina Bazan at Thakoon SS2016
Here’s more of that rich orange hue we’re seeing for fall, in the form of a jumpsuit on Kristina Bazan. The woven suede clutch is a great accessory for the look.
Camila Coelho at Carolina Herrera SS2016

Ursina Gysi at Theyskens’ Theory

Sojourner Morrell, Outside Milk Studios
Born in the U.S. and raised in England, model Sojourner Morrell is one of the newer faces on the scene and one of my favorites. Outside Milk Studios she wore tough-cool layers of gray denim.
Miroslava at Jason Wu
Miroslava Mikheeva Duma wore a jumpsuit printed with dogs and a beautiful statement necklace to yesterday’s Jason Wu show.
Jessica Hart Outside Milk Studios
Model Jessica Hart lingered outside Milk Studios after a friend’s presentation.
Food note: The People’s Pops, the artisanal popsicles sold at Chelsea Market across the street, have been extremely popular with the fashion crowd.
