Lineisy Montero at Etro FW2016
It’s Linesiy Montero: the model exited the Etro show clad in a graffiti top by Jeremy Scott. That may look like a pack of smokes in her hand, but it’s actually a subversive and popular iPhone cover by Jeremy Scott for Moschino.
Gilda Ambrosio at Blumarine
Gilda Ambrosio was one of the first to wear the new Moschino “fresh” themed collection at the shows in Milan. It’s definitely a catchy design – and is rapidly catching on among the fashion set.
Helena Bordon at Roberto Cavalli FW2015
Helena Bordon wore a cute Bugs Bunny-themed Moschino dress to the Roberto Cavalli show in Milan. A shot of her palm print Les Petits Jouers backpack, after the jump. (more…)
Sam and Cailli Beckerman at Jeremy Scott SS2015
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, the fashion got wild at the Jeremy Scott show. Sam and Cailli Beckerman of Beckerman Blog mixed Moschino bags and Sponge Bob visor with sequins and painted jeans. Cailli Beckerman actually painted the Beavis and Butthead cartoons on those jeans herself – impressive!
Eleonora Carisi at Diesel Black Gold SS2015
Designer Jeremy Scott has really made a splash at Moschino, starting with his McDonald’s-themed collection of last season and now with a Sponge Bob Squarepants-themed one for fall. The mass market images are so jarring to see on high fashion – including evening gowns – that it makes you rethink this dichotomy altogether, rather like Karl Lagerfeld’s supermarket-themed show for Chanel. Are mass and class really total opposites, or have they merged? Italian blogger Eleonora Carisi of Jou Jou Villeroy wore a Moschino yellow Sponge Bob sweater under white overalls with a clutch appliquéd with images of pizza, cigarettes and an eye. We are watching, indeed.
Model Off Duty, After Moschino
In Milan, the fashion set saw inclement weather as an opportunity to break out their best winter duds. This is really a case of “when in Rome” – Italian ladies have been known to don their best fur coats just for a trip to the grocery store. After the Moschino show, a model left in a brilliant red fur coat and leather leggings.
Luca Finotti at Moschino
Luca Finotti bounded past the backstage entrance of Moschino in the snow in a white suit and colorful Moschino sneakers, which apparently work pretty well, because he was really catching some air.
Julia Sarr-Jamois at Moschino
Julia Sarr-Jamois stood out in the snow after the Moschino show yesterday, looking great as usual. But most importantly: how awesome is her jacket?!? The monogramming takes varsity jackets to a whole new level of fashion – a varsity level, in fact.
Jourdan Dunn, After Moschino
Such a chic look on model Jourdan Dunn after the Moschino show in Milan. Colorful denim is a key way to warm up winter staples like a black coat, and the wide brimmed hat is just great personal style.
Ruby Aldridge, Outside Moschino
Model Ruby Aldridge combined retro high-waisted jeans with a vintage Leica camera outside the Moschino show.
