Street Style Sashay, Outside Giambattista Valli FW2018
It’s not a performance if you don’t have an audience! Drivers at Paris Fashion Week observed a street style shoot taking place in the middle of the road outside Giambattista Valli.
Follow Me on Instagram: Shiona Turini and Eva Chen at Giambattista Valli FW2018
Shiona Turini being trailed by Instagram’s Eva Chen, who was most likely doing one of her wildly popular live videos. They are one of the best ways to watch the fashion shows – if your own invitation was lost in the Paris mail, of course.
Valli Girl: Olivia Palermo at Giambattista Valli FW2018
Olivia Palermo at Giambattista Valli Couture FW2015
I really like how Olivia Palermo styled this outfit, because when one is pulling a pair of (kind of loud) wide-legged black and white striped trousers out of one’s closet, one doesn’t necessarily think, now where is my equally attention-grabbing black and white striped shirt to go with? Yet somehow the whole thing comes together quite elegantly.
Elena Perminova at Giambattista Valli Couture FW2015
Elena Perminova wore a gorgeous sheer and sashed dress with flower appliques to the Giambattista Valli show in Paris.
Sunshine or Clouds: Anya Ziourova at Giambattista Valli SS2015
Anya Ziourova brought a clever clutch by the other prominent Anya in fashion – Anya Hindmarch – to the Giambattista Valli show in Paris. One side of the clutch has a cloud with rays of sun, the other a cloud with lightning bolt. Either way, Ziourova was prepared for the weather in a sharp white trench by J.W. Anderson.
Nicole Warne at Giambattista Valli FW2014
It started pouring as the Giambattista Valli ended in Paris this season, and while many fashionistas melted down (including one yelling on her phone to her missing driver: “My head is getting wet! Why is this happening?!?!”) Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper kept her cool. The scarf at her neck quickly became a head scarf matching her pink plaid skirt. The white booties by Nicholas Kirkwood are really cute for spring.
Taylor Tomasi Hill at Giambattista Valli
This girl really knows how to put an outfit together! Taylor Tomasi Hill wrapped a black and white striped scarf over a blue pantsuit and belted the whole thing, pairing it with black and white gingham shoes. It’s pretty brilliant, but it looks effortless. That’s another fashionable T.T. – Tommy Ton – in the background.
Emmanuelle Alt at Giambattista Valli
I love Emmanuelle Alt’s style because it’s simple, elegant and timeless. She doesn’t really go in for trends, relying instead on a daily uniform of chic basics. Just an all black outfit with a belt tied just so: this is something we can all attempt. Also note from a beauty standpoint that French women keep it real, eschewing blowouts, Botox and lots of makeup for a natural look that’s undeniably sexy.
Hanne Gaby Odiele, After Giambattista Valli
The rest of the world may be on vacation, but some of us are already obsessing over spring/summer 2014 fashion week, which begins less than two weeks from today (!). For models and photographers, fashion week involves a lot of running around – literally. A sportif look like Hanne Gaby’s after the Giambattista Valli show is both comfortable and chic. Supreme New York floral hoodie, black skinny jeans, custom Nikes and a Valentino bag would take you from show to show – to show to show to show! – in style.
Green Coat and Orange Wicker Bag, Outside Giambattista Valli
A lightweight green coat and orange wicker bag struck a nice balance of modern and vintage outside the Giambattista Valli couture show.
Elena Perminova at Giambattista Valli
Elena Perminova wore a gorgeous black and white beaded suit to the Giambattista Valli Paris couture show. Another cool detail: her ear cuffs, a popular jewelry choice on the guests at the shows. Detail shot after the jump. (more…)
