70s Redux: Alix Angjeli at Hermes FW2015
Are you ready for flares? Because they’re back. Again. After the Hermes show in Paris, model Alix Angjeli demonstrated how to work a ’70s vibe to look cool, not costumey.
Black and Blue: Ines de la Fressange at Hermes FW2015
One of France’s great beauties, Inès de la Fressange, wore an elegant combination of navy, cream and black to the Hermes show in Paris. Mixing black and blue: one of the key tenets of fellow French model Caroline de Maigret in her book How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are. Detail shot of Inès, after the jump. (more…)
Irene Kim at DKNY FW2015
Will this long New York winter ever end?! Apparently not! But here’s some more sartorial inspiration for you. Irene Kim warmed us all up with a dose of color outside the DKNY show on a freezing cold day.
Alexis Bryan Morgan at Louis Vuitton FW2015
Kudos to Alexis Bryan Morgan, who just landed the job of fashion director at Rent the Runway. We spotted her at the Louis Vuitton show in one of her signature pink coats – a spring-y but warm look perfect for transitional weather. Does this mean Rent the Runway will start carrying Vuitton?!? A girl can dream….
Chiara Ferragni at Valentino FW2015
Super blogger Chiara Ferragni mugged for the cameras at Pierre’s street style studio in the Tuileries – while wearing a beautiful floral dress, no less!
Justin O’Shea and Veronika Heilbrunner at Valentino FW2015
Another fun moment in Pierre’s studio outside the Valentino show in the Tuileries – this time with Justin O’Shea and Veronika Heilbrunner. She’s in another cute minidress by Valentino – their floral print for spring.
Ella Catliff at Valentino FW2015
I love this planetary print of Valentino’s, and it looked particularly cute on Ella Catliff of La Petite Anglaise at the Valentino show. Extra points for matching her lipstick to the exact shade of her shoes and bag. And yes, hot pink lipstick is a great way to get your spring groove on now, even if it’s still cold in the Northeast.
Sarah Harris at Valentino FW2015
A fun moment in the Tuileries when Pierre of Models Jam formed a pit of street style photographers and a lot of our favorite street style stars came out and posed for us on the makeshift “runway.” Sarah Harris gamely joined in.
Sasha Luss at Chanel FW2015
I love seeing the Chanel models actually in Chanel in real life. Sasha Luss mixed a red and black tweed Chanel dress with a biker jacket, tights and boots, and a big fur hat. Another beauty shot of the Chanel cat-eye makeup, after the jump. (more…)
Anna Ewers at Chanel FW2015
Despite her racy Alexander Wang ads, model Anna Ewers is actually a little bit shy in real life. We got one shot of her as she stepped into a car outside the Chanel show. The gorgeous cat-eye makeup was a hit – and perfect for the Parisian “Brasserie Gabrielle” theme of the show.
Grace Mahary at Chanel FW2015
Grace Mahary rocked out in a Bob Marley tee and zebra striped coat after the Chanel show. Also note: white jeans season is already upon us.
Tanya Dziahileva at Chanel FW2015
It was such a treat to see model Tanya Dziahileva at the Chanel show, which she attended as a guest in an oversize belted black coat. She has this otherworldly beauty that’s utterly captivating.
Charlotte Free at Chanel FW2015
Charlotte Free, a true free spirit among models, after the Chanel show. I wish she had been at the punk-themed Met Ball – she would have been one of the only guests dressed appropriately. Follow her on Instagram for things like photos of her with Marilyn Manson.
Leather Jacket and Silk Pants, Outside Moncler Gamme Rouge FW2015
Loved the combination of materials – leather and silk – colors – black and blue – and sizing – fitted and voluminous – on this model off duty after the Moncler Gamme Rouge show.
Go Big or Go Home: Eleonora Carisi at Louis Vuitton FW2015
Another example of big volume in fashion today: this saturated red dress with an oversize bow on Eleonora Carisi at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris.
