Street Chic: Thrift Store Floral Dress, Mister Sunday
At the Mister Sunday party, this guest from College Fashionista was one of several to wear a cute and colorful dress found at a thrift store. Blame the economy, but it seems we’ve come full circle back to New York’s vintage shopping height of the mid-’90s, when Broadway thrift store Antique Boutique was cooler than any Madison Avenue flagship. During fashion week we had no idea that Julia Sarr-Jamois, editor of Wonderland, was going to be modeling in two big spring campaigns, but the results for Tibi and Barneys are quite beautiful. Girl in a Floral Dress, Outside Chanel
The Chanel show in Paris always attracts all sorts of fashion fans, some there to take photos, some there to just take in the scene. This girl arrived in a vintage-looking floral dress with a belt artfully twisted around. The socks and boots are also great for fall.

In case you haven’t heard us complaining all the way in New York, it’s been brutally hot in Paris this fashion week, so hot that the Tuileries feel more like the set of Lawrence of Arabia. Julia Sarr-Jamois, fashion editor of Wonderland Magazine, adeptly balanced fall fashion with hot weather in a lightweight black floral dress and silver sandals.
