State of the Art: Caroline Issa at Christopher Kane SS2018
Congrats to Caroline Issa, who was tapped to curate Sotheby’s “Contemporary Curated” sale in London, opening November 21st. Here she is at the Tate Modern for the Christopher Kane show in a very painterly blue velvet look.
Pretty in Pink: Caroline Issa at Giorgio Armani SS2018
Caroline Issa in a pink print frock at the Giorgio Armani show. The cut outs at the shoulder are very on trend – we’ve seen a lot of this cut on silk dresses and tops, while it was previously mostly in knitwear.
Get Cozy: Caroline Issa at Peter Pilotto SS2017
The weather’s getting colder, and it’s time to get cozy. Caroline Issa looked comfy but chic in a cashmere turtleneck sweater and pale gray coat and trousers at the Peter Pilotto show in London.
Keep It Light: Caroline Issa at Valentino FW2016
We may not be fully out of the cold weather yet, but you can keep it light and breezy with a long lightweight coat, which are getting more play on the streets than cropped jackets this season. Caroline Issa wore a beautiful lace coat by Sacai over cropped jeans to the Valentino show.
Caroline Issa at Kenzo FW2015
It may not be warm enough to ditch that outer layer just yet, but at least we can switch from black to blue for a more springlike look, as Caroline Issa did with a belted coat at the Kenzo show in Paris.
Power Suit: Caroline Issa at Louis Vuitton FW2015
We’ve been seeing a lot of double-breasted suits and coats on both men and women outside the shows. Caroline Issa wore a charcoal gray power suit under a red fur coat to the Louis Vuitton show in Paris. Click through for the clever message on the back of the coat. (more…)
Fashion Week’s Best Dressed – New York Post
I have a few photos in the Fashion Week’s Best Dressed section of the New York Post! Thanks to Gigi Hadid, Eva Chen, Ece Sukan, Caroline Issa, Irina Kravchenko, Sofie Valkiers, Anahita Moussavian, and Irene Kim for posing – or just walking slowly enough for me to capture you in action!
Caroline Issa at Philosophy FW2014
This outfit, like Caroline Issa herself, manages to be both cute and sophisticated at once. Love the black and white contrast and stylistic contrast between the cuddly hat and sleek black culottes and boots.
Caroline Issa and Yasmin Sewell at Ostwald Hegalson SS2015
It was such a pleasure to see these two lovely ladies Caroline Issa and Yasmin Sewell at the Ostwald Hegalson show yesterday. Both wore black and white maxi dresses (Yasmin’s by Josh Goot) and both are designing their own clothing lines now. Caroline Issa’s for Nordstrom comes out in spring 2015, and Yasmin Sewell’s collection for Barneys is in stores now.
Caroline Issa at Schiaparelli FW2014
Caroline Issa looked fabulous in a red dress and snakeskin print vest by Emily Wickstead at the Schiaparelli couture show in Paris. The shoes are by Paul Andrew.
Caroline Issa at Bottega Veneta
More burgundy and blue: Caroline Issa wore a burgundy and cobalt blue windowpane check suit to the Bottega Veneta show – it’s an unusual color combination that works beautifully. Also love the buckle shoes.
Caroline Issa at Sacai FW2014
Up-and-coming label Sacai has been getting a lot of buzz recently for its great jackets and skirts. The show in Paris drew a few fashion heavy hitters including Caroline Issa, who wore a pretty blue print skirt and jacket to the show.
Caroline Issa at Chanel SS2014
Caroline Issa wore a great black and white mix to the Chanel show in Paris. I also love how she styled the graphic print sweatshirt with a white button-down underneath, popping the collar for a Nehru effect.
Caroline Issa at Jil Sander
What’s big for fall 2013? Skirts! There’s no reason not to get into this trend now, especially as fun print skirts like this Emilia Wickstead skirt on Caroline Issa debut for spring. The camel coat is Schumacher.
Caroline Issa at DKNY
Caroline Issa wore a green fur with a bright orange lining to the DKNY show. The coat is actually by a Central Saint Martins student. The streak of color at the lapel went with the streak of blue mascara on her eyes and red lipstick – see the beauty shot below.
