Despite her racy Alexander Wang ads, model Anna Ewers is actually a little bit shy in real life. We got one shot of her as she stepped into a car outside the Chanel show. The gorgeous cat-eye makeup was a hit – and perfect for the Parisian “Brasserie Gabrielle” theme of the show.

Binx Walton, After Chanel FW2014
Little did we know when we spotted new model Binx Walton after the Chanel fall ready-to-wear show in Paris that she would be part of the label’s fall ad campaign as shot by Karl Lagerfeld. She layered an oversize black sweater with a silver padlock necklace and a sheer purple maxi skirt and mid-calf boots – a look that went well with the hair and makeup from the Chanel show. Olivia Palermo at Dior Cruise 2015
Olivia Palermo looked beautiful as usual at the Dior Cruise show on Wednesday. A Spanish style fringed bolero jacket is a great topper for evening over a sheer white top, but Olivia added a little edge to the outfit with a black leather skirt with a slit up one side.

Pretty in Pink, Outside Hermes
Like a certain other street style photographer at the New York Times, I am loving the pretty pastel pinks that are appearing like early signs of spring. Outside the Hermès show in Paris, a guest wore a pink cotton shirtdress wrapped with a pink wrap belt and accessorized with a matching pale pink bag and shoes. the first day of Milan Fashion Week, but that didn’t dampen the style quotient one bit. Outside the Gucci show a girl mixed a pink coat with a red necklace and orange umbrella.

I love Emmanuelle Alt’s style because it’s simple, elegant and timeless. She doesn’t really go in for trends, relying instead on a daily uniform of chic basics. Just an all black outfit with a belt tied just so: this is something we can all attempt. Also note from a beauty standpoint that French women keep it real, eschewing blowouts, Botox and lots of makeup for a natural look that’s undeniably sexy.

Punk Look, Astor Place
I’m really afraid to see what all the celebs and fashion people wear to Monday night’s Met Ball for the new punk exhibit. Chances are that the red carpet will make us all feel cynical about the intersection of art and commerce. If a woman at the punk Met Ball really wanted to do it right, she would take an expensive SS2013 designer sheath, rip it to shreds and pin it back together with safety pins.
Fortunately you can still see real punk at Astor Place and St. Mark’s Place, where Kendall wore an all black look with amazing platform creepers, studded collar, black eyeliner, black nail polish and an black vinyl spiked backpack. “I got it at a stripper store,” she said. Nastya Kusakina, After Dior
One of the most beautiful new faces in the modeling world is Russian model Nastya Kusakina, who has the look of a fairy princess in hair and makeup from the Dior runway. Even for us mere mortals, the combination of fuchsia lipstick and silvery shadow would be a fun beauty look for spring soirees.
