Cozy Chic, Outside BCBG FW2015
Cold weather is a great excuse to play with textures, like this guest at the BCBG show last winter who mixed a cozy shearling jacket with a chunky knit hat with fluffy fur pom pom.

Olivia Palermo at Rebecca Minkoff FW2015
Yesterday at New York Fashion Week, Olivia Palermo bundled up against the cold in a long green coat with fur collar, suede skirt and suede ankle boots.
Signs of Spring: Natalie Cantell at BCBG FW2015
It’s frigid here in New York, so it was good to see a few signs of spring in the clothes yesterday. Stylist Natalie Cantell wore a botanical print Karen Walker coat to the BCBG show yesterday. Another thing we’ve been seeing in the fashion crowd no matter how cold it gets: bare ankles.
Culottes: Leandra Medine at BCBG FW2015
So far the big story in New York fashion week street style has been culottes. These wide-legged pants that hang like a skirt, originally created so Victorian women could do sporty things like go horseback riding, look decidedly modern. Man Repeller Leandra Medine wore a kelly green pair to the BCBG show yesterday, pairing them with a white down jacket and red bandana tied at the throat.
Black Leather Fringe, Outside BCBG
Adding a little bit – or a lot – of fringe makes skirts and dresses just a little bit sexier, especially when they’re in motion. At the BCBG show in NYC, a guest wore a leather fringe skirt and Aquazzura peep toe booties.
Danielle Bernstein at BCBG SS2015
Blogger Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What mixed a leather fringe skirt with flats and a tee at the BCBG show yesterday. The pretty almond color of her skirt also figures prominently in a lot of the spring collections.
Maxi Skirt and Crop Top, Outside BCBG
Yesterday was the first day of school… and the first day of New York fashion week! I loved this look outside the BCBG show at Lincoln Center – it’s both classically ladylike and very modern.

Kate Davidson Hudson at BCBG
One of the most beautiful women on the fashion week circuit, Kate Davidson Hudson is also making waves with her site the Editorialist, the accessories-based ecommerce shop now launching a free print magazine. Needless to say she always has fabulous shoes and bags, like these suede over-the-knee boots that could kick winter to the curb.
Eva Chen at BCBG
Welcome to New York Fashion Week! It’s great to see all our editors out there in their coolest New York looks, like Lucky’s Eva Chen, trendsetting as always in a zebra-stripe coat, nautical hat and chunky creepers. It’s a classic downtown outfit to usher in the new season.
Kate Davidson Hudson at BCBG
Crop tops and full skirts have a sexy 1950s sensibility that really works right now. At the BCBG show, Editorialist‘s Kate Davidson Hudson wore a Marni skirt and BCBG top and carried a Louis Vuitton bag.
Blue Carreon at BCBG
One of my favorite guys to photograph, Blue Carreon, wore his signature blue to the BCBG show in a print blazer with white chinos and loafers.
Christina Perez at BCBG
Glamour‘s Christina Perez is one of the newest editors to make a sartorial splash at NY fashion week. At the BCBG show, she wore black and white with red Superga sneakers. Black skater skirts in silk or leather were a popular choice on guests at the shows.
Tamara Kalinic at BCBG
Blogger Tamara Kalinic of the Glam and Glitter wore pink head to toe at yesterday’s BCBG show, mixing a Zara top and H&M skirt with a Mulberry bag and Valentino pumps. Full skirts à la 1950s Dior have been making a major comeback.
