Helena Bordon at Rochas FW2014
Loved this cute look on Helena Bordon at the Rochas show in Paris. She mixed a leopard print coat with a rock tee, shredded jeans and ladylike heels and bag. Pale jeans that are gently shredded at the front are a good bet for spring 2014.

This was one of my favorite outfits all season on Elizabeth von Guttman of System Magazine. To usher in the spring, it’s always a good bet to start with a black and white palette and add pops of color. The fox sweater is by Maison Kitsune.

Loved this black and white look on Cosmo’s Shiona Turini (who is also the world’s most fashionable Bermudian). Black and white prints meet a black and white tweed skirt plus black and white shoes.

Vogue Brazil‘s Christina Pitanguy is quite the glamazon presence on the fashion week scene. At the Tory Burch show in New York, she wore a fur-trimmed black leather jacket with a textured leather black mini and lace-up black boots. Sexy and chic.

Alissa Wilson at Isabel Toledo for Lane Bryant
Blogger Alissa Wilson of Stylish Curves wore some pretty floral print pants and a hot pink top to the Isabel Toledo for Lane Bryant show last night. Adding florals under a black overcoat is a great way to warm up to spring.

Alexis Bryan Morgan at Peter Som FW2014
Still can’t get enough pink for spring 2014! Lucky Magazine’s Alexis Bryan Morgan wore an oversized pink coat to the Peter Som show in New York and accessorized with a pink clutch and pale pink scarf. White jeans and snakeskin print heels are another good investment for spring.

Cream Silk Coat, Outside Max Mara
A beautiful look for transitional spring weather. Outside the Max Mara show in Milan, a guest wore a long black vest under a pale cream silk coat for an invisible layer of warmth. The tomato red pants are a nice pop of color; the jeweled buckle flats are Prada. Also note: again, bared ankles for spring.

Nicole Warne at Giambattista Valli FW2014
It started pouring as the Giambattista Valli ended in Paris this season, and while many fashionistas melted down (including one yelling on her phone to her missing driver: “My head is getting wet! Why is this happening?!?!”) Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper kept her cool. The scarf at her neck quickly became a head scarf matching her pink plaid skirt. The white booties by Nicholas Kirkwood are really cute for spring.

Layered Vest, Outside Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
This guy, seen at several shows during Paris fashion week, has really cool personal style – menswear deconstructed. The vest is actually layered over a striped jacket and that over a striped painter’s shirt. The jeans cuffed high are also a nice and unusual touch.

Pretty in Pink, Outside Hermes
Like a certain other street style photographer at the New York Times, I am loving the pretty pastel pinks that are appearing like early signs of spring. Outside the Hermès show in Paris, a guest wore a pink cotton shirtdress wrapped with a pink wrap belt and accessorized with a matching pale pink bag and shoes. Caroline de Maigret at Isabel Marant FW2014
French top model Caroline de Maigret wore an Etoile Isabel Marant cotton coat to the designer’s show in Paris. I love the shades of blue all over – including jeans and a denim Chanel clutch – and the tribal vibe of this spring coat. Very sexy and cool.

Elisa Nalin at Chanel FW2014
This cute outfit on Elisa Nalin is one of my favorite things she’s ever worn. The knit top is by Michaela Buerger, the skirt Sonia Rykiel and the clutch by Sara Battaglia. Also we have seen a lot of flats on women outside the shows. Most are not as extreme as sneakers with evening wear à la Chanel couture, but many women have been pairing skirts and cropped trousers with pretty oxfords and brogues. (more…)

Miroslava Duma at Missoni FW2014
Miroslava Duma wore more crisp white to the Missoni show in Milan, pairing a pinstriped white suit with an Hermes bag and bustier-style top. A great look to keep in mind for spring. Also love the cut of the trousers: wide legged and cropped – and very flattering.
