Good Jeans: Leandra Medine at Mugler FW2015
A cute spring look on Leandra Medine aka the Man Repeller at the Mugler show in Paris. She always has the best jeans!
Ruffle Top and Hip Bag, MAC + Mia Moretti Coachella 2015 Party
Two big trends we saw at Coachella: hip bags a.k.a. fanny packs – logical because they’re a hands-free way to carry your stuff while you’re at a concert – but also ruffles, which was more surprising to me. Big feminine ruffles were everywhere on tops and dresses, perhaps stemming from the prairie chic on the runways for spring 2015.
Prairie Rose: Anya Ziourova at Chloe FW2015
Looking at photos of festival fashion, I keep coming back to the spring Chloe collection and its pretty prairie chic, which is spot-on for spring 2015. Anya Ziourova wore a ruffled, floral and polka dot print Chloe maxi dress to the show in Paris.
Color Story: Margaret Zhang at Chloe FW2015
It may still be too cold for shorts, but you can always change the story by shifting to spring colors, like this caramel and navy outfit on Margaret Zhang at Chloe. A silk scarf tied at the neck is not just a classic look but an instant spring 2015 update.
How Suede It Is: Chiara Ferragni at Chloe FW2015
Really liking the look of this caramel-colored suede for spring 2015. Apparently everyone agrees with me, because suede pieces similar to this Chloe shorts and jacket combo on Chiara Ferragni are selling out everywhere.
Helena Bordon at Chloe FW2015
One of my favorite looks on Helena Bordon during Paris fashion week. A striped maxi skirt or dress is a great base for spring layering, and I love how she mixed it with a sheer white off the shoulder sweater. Chloe green bag.
Suitably Sexy: Leigh Lezark at Kenzo FW2015
Proof that the menswear look doesn’t have to be mannish: Leigh Lezark showed off a little skin under a vest and wide-legged trousers at the Kenzo show. The cool bucket bag is an urban essential
70s Redux: Alix Angjeli at Hermes FW2015
Are you ready for flares? Because they’re back. Again. After the Hermes show in Paris, model Alix Angjeli demonstrated how to work a ’70s vibe to look cool, not costumey.
Ella Catliff at Valentino FW2015
I love this planetary print of Valentino’s, and it looked particularly cute on Ella Catliff of La Petite Anglaise at the Valentino show. Extra points for matching her lipstick to the exact shade of her shoes and bag. And yes, hot pink lipstick is a great way to get your spring groove on now, even if it’s still cold in the Northeast.
Miroslava Duma at Moncler Gamme Rouge FW2015
The lovely Miroslava Duma worked an equestrian vibe with a fabulous Louis Vuitton cropped striped leather jacket and black stirrup pants paired with heels at the Moncler show in Paris.
Soo Joo Park at Chanel FW 2015
Model Soo Joo Park, a favorite of Karl Lagerfeld’s, exited the Chanel show in a Fendi coat, leather pants and a Chanel sling bag.
Miroslava Duma at Stella McCartney FW2015
It’s been great to see Miroslava Duma back on the scene at Paris Fashion Week. At the Stella McCartney show yesterday, she wore a mix of shades of brown, patchwork coat and turtleneck sweater and carried a brown suede Hermes bag.
Prairie Girl: Danielle Bernstein at Carven FW2015
The Saint Laurent collection with its boho American West theme has been getting a lot of play on the streets – all the more appropriate for an American blogger in Paris, Danielle Bernstein.
Elisa Nalin at Vivette FW2015
A great yellow brocade look in Vivetta outside the show in Milan on Elisa Nalin. And the Stan Smith Adidas: this is the favorite shoe of the fashion crowd now.
