A Place in the Sun: Anna Dello Russo at Giorgio Armani SS2018
Anna Dello Russo hit two trends with one dress: florals and sequins, both of which have been making a splash outside the shows.
Pretty in Pink: Caroline Issa at Giorgio Armani SS2018
Caroline Issa in a pink print frock at the Giorgio Armani show. The cut outs at the shoulder are very on trend – we’ve seen a lot of this cut on silk dresses and tops, while it was previously mostly in knitwear.
Gilda Ambrosio at Armani Prive FW2016
Robe dressing is the new pajama dressing? Gilda Ambrosio belted a silk robe with a fanny pack at the Armani Privé show in Paris.
Summer Beauty: Maria Borges at Armani Prive FW2016
Victoria’s Secret model Maria Borges exited the Armani Privé show in Paris in subtle but colorful runway makeup, shell choker, and the natural hairstyle that has become her trademark. Not only a strong beauty statement, but perfect for summer.
Chriselle Lim at Armani Prive FW2016
Beautiful blue, white and red on Chriselle Lim, who kept it casual but elegant at the Armani Privé show in Paris.
Hannah Bronfman at Giorgio Armani Prive FW2016
Hannah Bronfman entered the Giorgio Armani show in Paris in a plunging white silk dress with a leather jacket thrown over her shoulders – a great transitional look as summer goes into fall. Also love that although she is quickly becoming a beauty icon, she keeps her look very natural.
Clara Racz at Giorgio Armani Prive FW2016
Another great vintage look on Clara Racz, this time with layered men’s ties and a U.S.A. bomber jacket.
Red and Blue Cocktail Dress, Outside Emporio Armani SS2016
Colorful cocktail dress season is upon us, and thank God! It makes getting dressed for parties so much easier. Outside the Emporio Armani show, a matching dress, shoes and bag.
Simone Marchetti at Emporio Armani FW2015
A belted coat is even better when it’s expertly tied, as demonstrated by Simone Marchetti at the Emporio Armani show in Milan. The red trousers really pop with the gray coat.
First Look at Fendi Resort: Chiara Ferragni in Milan
Fashion Week has become a sneak preview of a different sort: some of the top bloggers attend the shows wearing looks from collections that haven’t even been released to the public yet. At the Emporio Armani show, Chiara Ferragni wore head-to-toe Fendi resort – a colorful collection that’s distinctive for its polka dots.
Candela Novembre at Giorgio Armani FW2014
More miniskirts: Candela Novembre paired hers with a chunky orange sweater and black and white heels at the Giorgio Armani show in Milan. The outfit is all Zara except for the bag, which is by Sara Battaglia.
Chiara Ferragni at Emporio Armani FW2014
Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad wore a look straight off the Burberry runway to the Emporio Armani show in Milan: a pink lace Burberry skirt and clear plastic jacket, both embellished with jewels. Such a pretty and feminine look for spring.
Helena Bordon at Roberto Cavalli
Helena Bordon wore a cool mix of blue-and-white ikat jacket, black suede skirt and Adidas tee to the Roberto Cavalli show in Milan. The zebra-print boots are the finishing touch: not as dressy as stiletto pumps, but just as sexy and more comfortable for stomping around in all day.
Simone Marchetti at Armani
La Repubblica‘s Simone Marchetti is one of the most dapper men on the European fashion scene. Camouflage has been a continuing motif for him, now updated in a pixelated houndtooth print version in this jacket, which I think is Valentino.
P.S. He is really fun to follow on Instagram if you want an inside look at the fashion world and, when he’s off duty, la dolce vita.
Kate Lanphear at Armani
This has got to be one of my favorite outfits Kate Lanphear of T Magazine has ever worn. Just pure inky black from head to toe, with a thin leather top, mid-calf skirt and the new over-the-ankle boots. She is true to her original style while giving a nod to new trends, and she gets more sophisticated every year.
