It’s hard to believe, but we’re already moving into the spring/summer 2017 season in fashion. Last week marked the S/S 2017 menswear shows in NYC, where the guys still dressed well despite the heat. Here’s a whole slideshow of menswear photos I took for the New York Times Styles section for @nytimesfashion on Instagram. Major trends noted on the streets: multiple necklaces and open shirts, as seen on model Luka Sabbat above, chinoiserie and Japanese prints, especially on jackets, shorts suits, kimono dressing, and – wait for it – sandals worn with socks.
